A "Boy Named Lucy" our official greeter.  He waves and rings his bell for you!  Bells continue to be his favorite toy.  "Lucy" is a scarlet macaw.  He is a boy with a girl's name because his former owners thought he was a girl.  I have all the birds DNA sexed because it is important for health reasons to know their sex. We did not change his name because he knows his name and says it often in a very enthusiastic manner.  This gorgeous macaw is considered to be one of the 10 most beautiful birds in the world.  photograph by artist Joe A.
